Joseph schooling has
beaten Michael Phelps in 100 meter Butterfly at Rio Olympics 2016.This event is
milestone for Joseph schooling and for his country also.

Joseph Schooling has won 16 gold medals in Southeast Asian
Championship in three champion ship
happening in two years of Gap.
In the 100 m butterfly semifinals on 11 August 2016,
Schooling swam 50.83 seconds as the fastest qualifier for the finals. And on
the second day only at 12 august he won gold medal by beating Michael Phelps, chad
le clos, Laszlo cseh by 0.75 seconds. This time he broke all the previous
record of himself and of Michael phelps of 50.58 second. His record 50.39
second is considered as a Olympics Record.
