Summer Olympics 2016

Olympics is a major international sport event and probably the most important one for any sportsperson. Here, from different corner of the world sportsperson gathers and represent their countries. By representing their countries means they represent how their country has involved in sport and contributed in world  unity for the betterment .This time its held at Rio, Brazil so its also called Rio Olympics 2016.

For Viewers Summer Olympics is enjoyable moment  because of its variability in sports and participants. When it was first held in 1896, there were  only 5 sports, but after that  International Olympics Committee started promoting different sports from several  countries. Now in Summer Olympics 2016 there are 28 sport events with 10,500 numbers of Athletes in participation.

Rio Olympics 2016 is going to start from 5^th August with Opening ceremony and it will complete on 21^st August with Closing ceremony. The Celebration of Opening and Closing ceremonies is starts with Some speech, flag hoisting , athletes parade and most significant tradition of Olympics “Olympic Torch”. By this Ceremonies Host country represent its own Culture with its artistic spectacle.

There were many obstacle, the IOC has faced this time in Brazil. Brazil is developing country so to promote this type of event, it requires massive amount of money. Total investment in Rio Olympics 2016 is around R$29 billion. Local Brazilian cant afford high rise in taxes which would be imposed on them after this event. Due to this they have opposed this event. But finally with the support Rio Olympics has started and its going to be great sport event then ever before.
