Rio Olympics 2016 has started, and this time, it has created
history for many countries including USA
by Michael Phelps in Swimming and INDIA by Dipa Karmakar in gymnastics. Michael
Phelps won the gold medal for 21st times which is considered as a
most gold medal won by and single person in Olympic. Indian girl Dipa karmakar
has been qualified for the final vault in gymnastic at Olympic 2016.
Dipa karmakar has already created history by becoming the
first female gymnast to secure a
position in Rio Olympics 2016 by getting 52.698
point. This is the first time that ever India girl has achieved in the field of
gymnastics. She has also won Bronze medal at Asian gymnastics championship and
she stood at fifth position at 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship.
At Rio Olympics 2016, she has done some of the most difficult
moves to get the highest point in gymnastic. On 7th August she
became the first Indian gymnast to enter the final vault of gymnastic by
gathering 14.850 point which includes produnova
vault. She tried the produnova vault which is also termed as death vault
due to its highly risky tactic.
By doing that she became the fifth gymnast who
ever have tried and successfully landed on her feet, before that 6 gymnast have
tried and 2 were badly injured. She stand 8th rank in women`s vault at Olympic 2016.
