Murray Stewart
Murray Stewart (born 2 July 1986, Durban) is an Australian kayaker. He is a graduate of The University of Sydney, and participated in their Elite Athlete Program. He was the member of Australia's gold medal winning Kayak Four (K4) 1000m team at the London Olympics 2012.
René Holten Poulsen
René Holten Poulsen (born 28 November 1988) is a Danish sprint canoeist. He won a silver medal in the men's K-2 1000 metres at the 2008 Summer Olympics.The Dane has won medals in various sprint events, but has since 2009 primarily focused on the K-1. He has won 5 world championships medals and was in 2015 in Milan crowned double world champion, winning both the K-1 1.000 meter and K-1 500 meter as the only 6th athlete in the world. Furthermore he has one medal from the Olympic Games and 15 from European championships. In June 2015, he competed in the inaugural European Games, for Denmark in canoe sprint, more specifically, Men's K-1 1000m. He earned a bronze medal.
Peter Gelle
Peter Gelle is a Slovak sprint canoer who has competed since the late 2000s. He won a silver medal in the K-1 500 m at the 2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poznań and a gold medal in the K-2 1000 m in 2011 with Erik Vlček. Péter was born in Párkány (Sturovo in Slovak) and is a member of ethnic Hungarian community in Slovakia. The area was transferred to a newly formed Czechoslovakia following the Treaty of Trianon in which Hungary lost 2/3 of its territory and created a large Hungarian ethnic minority in Slovakia and the newly formed countries that border present-day Hungary.
Fernandes Pimenta
Fernando Ismael Fernandes Pimenta, (born 13 August 1989) is a Portuguese sprint and marathon canoeist who has won medals at the Summer Olympics, World and European championships. Pimenta participated in the inaugural edition of the European Games, in Baku, Azerbaijan, where he became the first Portuguese sprint canoeist to win a medal in this competition, after finishing second in the K-1 1000 metres event; a day later, he added another silver medal in the K-1 5000 metres. At the World Championships in Milan, Pimenta won the K-1 1000 metres bronze medal – his third medal at this level – and secured his country's qualification for this event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Max Hoff
Max Hoff (born 12 September 1982) is a German sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He won seven medals atICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with five golds (K-1 1000 m: 2009, 2010, 2013, K-1 5000 m: 2011 and K-4 1000 m: 2011 ) and two silvers (K-1 5000 m: 2010, 2014).At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the K-1 1000 m. Hoff also finished fourth in the K-4 1000 m at that Olympics, as well as fifth in the K-1 1000 m event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Josef Dostál
Josef Dostál (born 3 March 1993) is a Czech canoeist.He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the K-4 1000 m event.
