La Tomatina - Tomato Festival Spain

La Tomatina is a fun festival celebrating on last Wednesday of August month every year in Valencia town of Bunol, Spain. This Festival is mostly basis on tomatoes, which include throwing tomatoes on each other. Participants get involved for tomatoes fights just for entertainment purpose.

To  celebrate this festival thousands of people from whole world comes here and get involve in throwing of over rip tomatoes on each other and get fully covered by Tomatoes on streets. Even streets of Valencia are almost Red on this day and once again on this Wednesday it will happen.

This festival is almost of one week which includes different party like music, dance, parades and fireworks. Food is major part of this festival so on the Tuesday night there will be competition of paella cooking. On Wednesday morning, one Ham is placed on long pole covered with grease peoples tried to get that piece of ham and after getting that, then only Tomato Fight will start. This is tradition of La tomatina which is there from long time.

There are general rules for the festivals which includes, 1)we should squash a tomato before hitting anyone, 2)Except tomato, no other thing is used for hitting purpose, 3) Participants have to make way for truck and lorries, 4)After the Second shot of canon, none of them have to hit tomatoes as second shot is indication for the completion of festival.

This Rules are for the safety of people. People are strongly recommended to wear goggles and gloves for safety. There are some websites where you can find Tickets for participation like www.tomatina.es, www.latomatina.org. There are different packages available for the participants for the enjoyment.

Many tomatoes are thrown on this day, In year 2015 there were 145,000 kilograms of tomatoes were wasted for the celebration. There is expectation that, in this year there would be more tomatoes and more enjoyment than previous year.

Burning Man - Nevada - Art of Expression - Festivals

There are many festivals all over the world, Burning Man is one of them. It is one type of gathering at black rock city by a community erected in black rock desert in Nevada. This event is description of an experiment in community and art basis on ten main principles such as self expression,community cooperation, civic responsibility, gifting, and many more.

First time it was held in 1986 on baker beach in san fransisco as a small event organized by group of friends, since than it is celebrated annually, from last Sunday in august to first Monday in September.

The community at burning man explores various forms of artistic self expression, created for the celebration and pleasure of all participants. Participation is a main principle for the community, it is considered as a selfless giving of one`s unique talents for enjoyment of all is encouraged. Some of those generous activity includes experimental sculpture, art cars, building, performances. Event name is Burning Man so its obvious that there would be something to burn, it’s the symbolic ritual to burning of a large wooden man which traditionally occurs on Saturday evening of event.

Rio Olympics 2016 - Closing Ceremony, Next Olympics 2020 Tokyo

At Rio, 16 days of Rio Olympics 2016 are completed as it started on 5th August 2016 and Closing ceremony held on 21st August 2016. As a tradition of opening and closing ceremony at Olympics, Brazil shows its spectacular culture to whole world.

Brazil is always been famous for its Carnival and at Olympics also Carnival activities were centre of attraction. Closing Ceremony was held at Maracana Stadium Rio de janeiro .
